Part of the aging process is the loss of skin elasticity, causing loose skin. The Graivier Center has several non-surgical and minimally invasive options to target these telltale signs of aging. These include loose skin around the jowl and neck areas, sagginess around the eyes, droopy brow lines and fine lines. New ThermiTight procedures are done under local anesthesia and can tighten loose skin at the elbows, knees, arms and neck.
Exilis and Exilis Elite
Exilis and Exilis Elite is focused radiofrequency waves directed at the deeper layers of the skin as well as the subcutaneous fat. Skin tightening can be directed at the abdomen, hips, arms, knees, thighs, décolleté, face, neck and eyes.
The Exilis and Exilis Elite procedure promotes skin tightening via collagen synthesis and reshaping of targeted fat deposits. Fat shrinkage with Exilis occurs via absorption of heat in the fatty tissue (up to 3 cm).
Approximately two to four treatments are recommended, usually three weeks apart. There is no downtime associated with these procedures.
ThermiTight procedures are done for skin tightening of the neck/jowls, lower face, arms, elbows and knees. Local anesthesia is used as a small puncture is made in the areas to be treated (no sutures are necessary). A probe is inserted and the temperature is raised to 55 to 60 degrees Celsius. This causes skin tightening, and fat can be “melted” as well. Compression garments are applied for the first two days (and longer in some areas).
