DR. DAVID HILL
Dr. Hill is double- board certified with the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Dr. David Hill is known for his compassion, enthusiasm and perfectionism. His extensive training has allowed him to refine his artistic skill and perfect his techniques to create optimal results. He takes pride in the successful outcomes and life-changing role he plays in the lives of many, both in the U.S. and abroad during his volunteer medical mission trips.
BEAUTIFUL RESULTS START WITH THE RIGHT SURGEON
Dr. Hill started his career at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland where he pursued degrees in electrical engineering and pre-medicine. Afterwards he attended medical school at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine where he simultaneously took on roles as a Teacher’s Assistant for various classes as well as a director position at the Red Cross of Sint Maarten.
He was inducted into the school’s honors society and was awarded the prestigious Honors and Service Excellence Award during his graduation. He matched into a highly competitive Categorical General Surgery residency at Hofstra Northwell Health in New York City. While there he earned the Surgical Scholar of the Year Award two years in a row for his multiple accolades including placing in the nation’s top 90th percentile on the annual national surgery examination. He was also commended for his vast research efforts and won best oral presentation during the annual hospital research day.
He then completed a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the Houston Methodist Hospital, the number one ranked hospital in Texas. During his additional training, he continued to excel once again earning one of the top scores in the entire country during the annual plastic surgery training and Board examinations. His unique training as both a surgeon and engineer give him a unique perspective when solving the most difficult surgical issues.
Upon completion of his training, Dr. Hill joined the world renowned Graivier Center. The standards set forth by Dr. Graivier along with the comforting environment and compassionate staff created the ideal fit. Dr. Hill’s and Dr. Graivier’s passion to help patients of all backgrounds and nationalities also coincide. Dr. Hill performs annual mission work to countries including Colombia, Guatemala, Zimbabwe, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Being able to operate in a foreign land with limited tools and resources and creating successful outcomes is the true sign of a talented surgeon and is a great challenge which Dr. Hill continues to enjoy.
