Labiaplasty in Alpharetta, GA
Labiaplasty Consultation
At The Graivier Center, we value our personal relationships with our patients. Each patient is treated as an individual, and as such, is given a personal consultation prior to any treatment. Dr. Graivier and his staff will meet with you to help you make decisions regarding which procedure(s) or treatment(s) will result in achieving your aesthetic goals. The consultation will conclude with a discussion about the desired treatment, your expectations, the benefits and risks associated with the treatment and post-treatment recovery.
Labiaplasty Procedures
Labiaplasty will reduce the size or change the shape of the small lips on the outside of the vagina. The labiaplasty surgery is done with a laser, which acts similar to a scalpel, but it provides precise results with minimal bleeding.
Extra tissue will be removed.
There are three areas of concern when treating the external genital area:
- Labia Minora Surgery – modifies the length, shape and projection of the labia
- Labia Majora Surgery – restores volume to flattened or sagging areas adjacent to the labia
- Pubic Mound Surgery – may be needed if the pubic area is overly full, prominent or sagging
Dr. Graivier will discuss all of these options with you, and he will determine your individual needs and the best technique to use.
Labiaplasty surgery takes approximately one hour and is done on an outpatient basis.
Labiaplasty Recovery
Following your labiaplasty surgery, you may experience swelling and bruising.
Patients should plan to use a feminine pad for any discharge. The stitches will dissolve and the incision will heal in one to two weeks.
Most patients return to work in three to five days. Sexual intercourse may be resumed after three to four weeks.
