Medical Societies
As a member of a variety of medical societies, Dr. Hill remains well-versed in industry matters and prioritizes his continuous education. These memberships include the American college of Surgeons, Georgia Society of American College of Surgeons, Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery and the American Medical Association.
As an active board member of the PlastyPac Board of Governors, Dr. Hill travels to Washington D.C. yearly to advocate for important matters on behalf of our patients as well as the practice of plastic surgery. Several issues covered include ensuring coverage for breast reconstruction after breast cancer procedures, insurance coverage for children with congenital anomalies, ensuring there is truth in advertising in regard to physicians and their qualifications.
He is also on the scientific advisory board and acts as a consultant to Merz Medical, Allergan/AbbVie, Galderma and Medical Design Concepts. Through these activities, Dr. Hill has been involved in several FDA studies which help bring new technologies and techniques to market. By being involved with these consultant activities, it ensures Dr. Hill remains at the forefront of plastic surgery and the newest and latest technologies.

Humanitarian Pursuits
Dr. Hill is passionate about connecting and helping others. Annual mission work in countries including Colombia, Guatemala, Zimbabwe, and the Democratic Republic of Congo is a great challenge which he continues to enjoy. His ability to operate in foreign land and create successful outcomes with limited tools and resources is a testament to his talents as a surgeon. To date, Dr. Hill has completed over 150 surgeries during international medical missions and continues to assist in such endeavors by advising non-profit organizations locally.

Lifelong Interests
Although Dr. Hill discovered his passion for the artistry and complexities of surgery at a young age, he has pursued several other vocations and excelled in numerous endeavors. In his teens, Dr. Hill provided therapeutic horseback riding lessons to children with learning disabilities and medical illnesses. While at Johns Hopkins University, he was an NCAA Varsity Athlete in fencing, specializing in sabre and foil, and played on both the hockey and lacrosse teams. Dr. Hill also received his private pilot certification in 2007.
Always enhancing his creative and technical skills, Dr. Hill has learned the art of clarinet, saxophone and bagpiping, for which he traveled to Scotland to refine his skills under guidance from the masters.
Outside the OR
While Dr. Hill spends most of his time helping patients look and feel their best, when he has some downtime, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. On occasion, you may also find Dr. Hill on a golf course as well as enjoying the great outdoors of Georgia.
